Artist Bob Worthy’s new landscapes combine grid patterns, layers and negative space. His layered collage/transfer approach to this subject gives the viewer their “expression” or “essence” instead of just re-creating a landscape with buildings on canvas.    

Feeling that no single work can explain the complexity of a landscape, Worthy works in a series. This allows him to re-use strong elements and effective techniques from one piece to the next. Each multi-layered rendering shares some details with the other works in the series.
